15-04-18 - Maul & Macana
Latitude 64° Maul is a new understable fairway driver made for turnover shots.” It resembles our popular driver the River, in both speed and glide but is more understable.
This disc is a very good choice for beginners/amateurs and people who doesn't throw extremely far, since it´s easy to control and grip and won't fade as much as high speed drivers do.” says Tomas Ekstrom at Latitude 64°. The flight rating is set to S 7, G 7, HSS -2 and LSS 1. Maul is approved by the PDGA:
Outside diameter: 21.4 cm
Inside rim diameter: 17.7 cm
Height: 2.0 cm
Rim depth: 1.1 cm
Rim thickness: 1.8 cm
Flexibility rating: 7.48 kg
Rim configuration rating: 33.00
Maximum weight allowed: 177.6

Macana is a new slightly over stable putter, it will be included in the Trilogy Challenge Set (in retro plastic). Macana can best be described both in flight and design as a little less deep Dagger. So those who think Dagger has a too deep grip will probably like the shallower according to the company. Macana has been approved by the PDGA:
Outside diameter: 21.1 cm
Inside rim diameter: 18.9 cm
Height: 2.1 cm
Rim depth: 1.4 cm
Rim thickness: 1.1 cm
Flexibility rating: 8.73 kg
Rim configuration rating: 74.00
Maximum weight allowed: 175.1

Latitude 64° is adding two more molds in the Frost line; XXX and Havoc will be available next week.
